When country has so many poor people and some of them use also drugs it means that it brings a lot of bums and people begging money..
Poor people and Dominican people aren't neither too smart and attitude here is live this day and don´t think about future.. I find people also very emotional here and they get angry quite easily.
People drive like crazy here so if you like to drive car or motorcycle it might be little bit risky because roads aren't too good neither.
Police are also corrupted and they get too little money to be trust worthy.. That's why here is also tourist police if foreigner get some problem.
So if you want to get problems it is easy.
How to avoid problems and stay safe?
Don't go out at night time at least not alone.. Why would you need to go out at night time? There is no reason for that.. You meet girls at day time in normal situations and they are very easy to open so just don´t go out at night time.
You can get these nice girls from poorer areas but don't move there yourself.. Only reason to move there would be saving maybe 100 dollars and putting yourself at danger because hundrer dollars.. So move in to safe place with security guy.
At day time it is very safe at cities because security guys are at every corner and there is a lot of people every where so you don't find no problem here.. Only problem might be the girls that are looking you all the time and saying Hola to you.. Of course there is little kids who want to clean your shoes and people asking for money.. But people don't come to you with guns or anything and as tourist you have right to not understand any languages. There is a lot of polices in cities also at day time and to foreigners they don´t make any problems.
In poorer areas there are always crazy people who doesn't understand nothing so there safety is always unquestionable.. I go to poor areas with some local people and haven't found any trouble there at day times.. People are just very interested because they don´t see foreigners there. So if you want to go to poorer areas take some trustful local friend with you but going there is not necessary.
You don't need to go to poorer areas because girls like to come to city for shopping and looking for clothes and just hanging around. Seeing them is also good option in city just say where they take taxi and pay it when they arrive. Nobody can't expect you know the town because you are not local.
With this information everybody should stay safe here.. Just take some apartment with security and go around city at day time and make your hits and take your girls straight to your apartment and that's it.
There is also some dengue mosquitos in bad areas but again no reason to go for those places at all in first place.
You will have celebrity value in first place here so trying to stand out more with gold and that kind of things isn´t good idea and just makes you more potential victim for thefts. That in mind look good but don´t wear stuff worth stealing.
About girls you should try to treat them good for not getting problems... Don't say directly you don't want to see again just don't answer the phone and say always that you are in some other town or at other country or something. They will get bored sooner or later..
